Hardcore libertarianism, "outrageous conspiracy theories" with Morgan Reynolds!

Truth Jihad Radio Fri. 2/10/12, 3-5 pm Central, American Freedom Radio (archived here.) Call-in: (402) 237-2525 or post your questions to my Facebook page.

Okay, folks, this is it - the last show before I take the rest of February off. American Freedom Radio will be broadcasting re-runs of "The Best of Truth Jihad Radio." You can help bring Truth Jihad Radio back ASAP by donating via the paypal button at TruthJihad.com. I'm going to need to raise at least $500 a month ($125 a week) to barely cover the time it takes to seek out and schedule guests, post the shows, and so on. Since I'm doing seven hours of live radio a week, on top of all the time it takes to find guests, read their books, post the shows, etc. etc. this is really not a whole lot of recompense. Please donate as generously as you can at TruthJihad.com !

Guest for both hours: UW-Madison "sifter and winnower" Morgan O. Reynolds, Ph.D., Professor emeritus of economics, Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas. He is a former Chief Economist at the U.S. Department of Labor 2001-2002, and he also served as the Director of the Criminal Justice Center and Senior Fellow at the National Center for Policy Analysis, headquartered in Dallas, Texas.

Morgan's latest article is: WTC Destruction: Five Facts Falsify Five Theories.

Should the government pump money into the economy to keep it chugging along at its optimum potential? Most economists since Keynes say yes. Morgan Reynolds says no! Morgan is a hardcore libertarian - he once threatened to run for President under the slogan "Ron Paul with balls" - and he says he's going to convince me that Keynes was all wrong. (For a pro-Keynes argument, listen to the second half of Tuesday's show with Ellen Brown.)

Morgan is also notorious for violating George W. Bush's ultimatum: "We must never tolerate outrageous conspiracy theories!" Morgan, who was originally George W. Bush's top Labor Department economist, not only has accused his former bosses of "blowing the World Trade Center to kingdom come," but also argues that the videos we've all seen of the plane hitting the South Tower cannot be authentic. He hasn't convinced me on that one yet - though I admit that the image of the plane apparently melting completely into the building without slowing down, BEFORE there is any visible damage to the building, does strike me as bizarre.
